Medical studies in Greece
Admission Test Syllabus is based on high-school knowledge and specifically on the syllabus of IB (International Baccalaureate).
The exam is widely described as covering standard High-School Biology, Ecology, Physiology and Chemistry topics.
The Admission Test consists of a 60 question multiple choice test, taken online.
1st call Applications from early November until late December.
Online exams in late January. Publication of results up to mid February.
2nd call Applications from mid March until mid May. Online exams in late May until early June. Publication of the amendment list until mid June.
Should a candidate be instructed to sit the digital entrance exam, some universities ask for a deposit prior to the exam date. In case of final admission, the amount is deducted from the tuition fees.
Application procedures for medicine in Greek Universities for English taught medical programs handled by Metavasi Career Guidance & Counseling Services with a discount of 20%, from 410 Euro to 330 Euro.

Classes start on 2nd of March 2026 and are timed to conclude just before the entry exams take place in late May 2026.
